R.I.P. Alexander McQueen

Acabamos de enterarnos de la terrible pérdida que ha sufrido hoy mismo el mundo de la moda y no salimos de nuestro asombro, Alexander McQueen decidió terminar con su vida y esta mañana fue hallado muerto en su domicilio. Ahora mismo se puede leer el siguiente mensaje en su página web:

"On behalf of Lee McQueen's family, Alexander McQueen today announces the tragic news that Lee McQueen, the founder and designer of the Alexander McQueen brand has been found dead at his home. At this stage it is inappropriate to comment on this tragic news beyond saying that we are devastated and are sharing a sense of shock and grief with Lee's family.

Lee's family has asked for privacy in order to come to terms with this terrible news and we hope the media will respect this."

Desde aquí nos unimos a los muchísimos mensajes de pésame que se han ido sucediendo desde que se ha conocido la noticia hace pocas horas y lamentamos profundamente que alguien tan joven y tan talentoso nos haya dejado.

Afortunadamente siempre podremos disfrutar de sus magníficas creaciones y alegrarnos de que decidiese tomar su propio camino en el difícil mundo del diseño y dejarnos disfrutar de su genialidad:
